Solar power simulation
Energy yield assessment grounded in the actual site
Tokyo-based ANE supports solar projects in Japan with PVsyst energy yield simulations, 3D terrain analysis and plant layout design.
Since 2015, we have proposed optimized layouts and carried out PVsyst simulations for solar facilities totaling more than 15 GW, primarily extra-high-voltage projects.
About ANE and our experienceFrom site conditions to simulation results
We use terrain and survey data to build 3D models of the site, mounting systems and surrounding structures. The layout model is imported into PVsyst to assess shading alongside design conditions such as voltage-drop losses and panel degradation.
Reports include annual energy yield, performance ratio (PR) and a breakdown of losses. We feed the results back into the layout design to identify opportunities to improve energy production.
See our PVsyst simulation methodology and example outputs, or explore PR testing and operational performance evaluation for completed plants.
Japan’s solar resource data
ANE also hosts the API used by PVsyst to access NEDO solar radiation data for Japan. Read about this in PVsyst’s NEDO database documentation.
