After completion, actual operating data needs to be organized so that you can clearly demonstrate whether the plant performs as expected and meets its guarantee conditions.
Through PVsyst-based PR testing and performance evaluation support, we compare measured data with PVsyst results to produce a quantitative assessment.
Where necessary, our support continues beyond the test result to investigate causes and propose improvements.

PR testing and performance evaluation
Using measured weather data, we compare the energy yield and PR simulated in PVsyst with the plant’s measured production and PR to assess compliance with the guarantees in the EPC contract.
In addition to shading effects within a 3D model of the layout, PVsyst allows detailed settings for panel degradation, reflectance at different angles of incidence, voltage-drop losses, transformer losses and many other factors, enabling accurate performance evaluations.
We agree on each parameter with the client. If the contractual guarantees were based on energy yield or PR in a PVsyst report, providing that original PVsyst data enables a fairer comparison.
If the test indicates that improvements are needed, we re-examine site conditions, investigate the causes and propose possible improvements.
We can also draw on our experience to support preparation of performance test procedures.
